About the artist

MARGITTE is the band around Ghent musician Margot De Ridder. Fueled by versatile musical influences ranging from jazz to tweepop and indie rock, Margitte forms an ethereal, at the same time sharp and above all characteristic sound. Margot is an experienced songwriter and previously played in bands such as Les Bandits. She is still writing, singing and playing keys in Whisper Party. A few years ago she was the lead singer of MMZL and released the single Brainworm.
