About the artist

The M-Kids is a Flemish girl group formed around the year 2000 in response to the craze surrounding the other girl group K3. It consisted of Britt De Winter and the twin sisters Tamara Cambré and Davina Cambré, young teenagers who were selected after auditions. The idea for the group came from the record label ARS from Kontich, which was responsible for the compilations for the Hits for Kids CDs. The letter 'M' in the name refers to Malisa, the dance group where the girls previously met. They recorded the song 'Swingen' for the CD 'Hits for Kids - Volume 2 (2000)', which was so successful that a separate single was released, performances occurred at Tien om te Zien and the Sportpaleis, and several CDs followed.
