IJsland (the Dutch name for Iceland) is a politically charged Dutch, Amsterdam-based hiphop project featuring Dutch rapper Sef (born 1984) and rapper, singer, author and what not, Abel van Gijlswijk (born 1990) . As a punk musician, Van Gijlswijk is best known as front man of Dutch-language punk upstarts, Hang Youth. They released a hiphop album together in June 2024, entitled IJsland ('Iceland'), on Burning Fik Records. Initially, the album was credited to Abel & Sef in most reviews.
